REVIEW: BODY MERRY STRETCH MARKS & SCARS DEFENSE CREAM

I was given the opportunity to try Body Merry's Stretch Mark & Scar Defense Cream in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion.  I tried this product for about 3 weeks on two problem areas: stretch marks on my hips and a scar on my thigh I've been having for years now.  The scent of this product is delightful and I love the consistency of this product, which is a thick cream.  Since the consistency is thick, a little goes a long way! This is great because this one jar will last me a while.  After 3 weeks of trying the product out, I am definitely seeing a fading of both my stretch marks and scar on my thigh.  I am pleased with the effectiveness of this product and love that this product is a natural and organic product.  I have not yet encountered a Body Merry product that I have not been highly impressed with! REVIEW: RICOLA REVITALIZING HERB DROPS

Mmm... Thank you Crowdtap for giving me the opportunity to try these amazing little drops out free of charge! I received a free bag of Ricola Revitalizing Herb Drops Lemon Zest flavor and I REALLY enjoy the taste of these drops. They taste like candy and are addictive, especially since my favorite sucker flavor is lemon! I love the effervescent center that dissolves in your mouth. It makes these delightful little drops fun to eat! The recommended serving size is 2-10 drops per day. I did wind up eating 8 one day and did feel more energized throughout the day. Every 2 drops provides 20% of the adult daily value of Vitamin B6 and B12!  

I also made my boyfriend try this product and he agreed they are delicious! He wanted to eat the whole bag! He loved them just as much as I did! Overall, I really enjoyed trying this product out and will be purchasing in the future!

REVIEW: ZEP CLEANING PRODUCTS

Thanks to Crowdtap, I was given the opportunity to try out ZEP cleaning products for free! The two complimentary products I was given the opportunity to try were the ZEP All Around Oxy Cleaner & Degreaser and the Quick Clean Disinfectant. Both products were effective. The All Around Oxy Cleaner did have a pretty strong scent that was not pleasant to me personally. It also turned my fingertips white temporarily, so use gloves when using this product. However, it was effective on the stuck on grease that was on my stove! The Quick Clean Disinfectant is a spray I would use for my everyday wiping down of countertops. This product did not have a scent. I prefer no scent over super chemically smelling products, like Lysol, but prefer good smelling countertop sprays over unscented, such as Mrs. Meyers. Overall, I would give both products 4/5 stars. They were effective and served their purpose. Beside the scent issues, I did enjoy using these products.

I was eager to rip open the package of the complimentary ChapStick Hydration Lock Day and Night lip balm I received from Smiley 360 the second it hit my mailbox! I love the dual-sided design of this lip balm! I also love that it is two different lip balms for two different uses combined into one stick!

REVIEW: INSTANATURAL VITAMIN C FACIAL TONER + VITAMIN C SERUM + EYE GEL

Thanks to Tomoson and Instanatural, I was given the opportunity to try out Instanatural's Vitamin C Facial Toner, Vitamin C Serum, and Eye Gel!

I will start with reviewing my favorite product of the three, although all three were great products! The Vitamin C Facial Toner has made my skin SO SMOOTH!! I used to have super dry and flaky skin (thanks dry California weather), but since trying the Vitamin C Facial Toner, I don't even have to use as much moisturizer to achieve smooth and moisturized skin. I LOVE the ease of the use of this product. I admit, some nights I get too lazy to apply 395345092845 products to my face before bed. However, no matter how lazy I am feeling, I am never too lazy to spray 4-5 spritzes of the Vitamin C Toner on my face. It is so simple and takes a few seconds. There is no tingling or burning sensation from using this spray, unlike other toners. I also love the fresh citrus scent of the spray! My boyfriend even commented on how good the bathroom smelled after I had just sprayed the Vitamin C Toner on my face. Another added benefit is that this product is made using 100% ORGANIC and NATURAL ingredients! That makes me feel good about putting the product on my face! Overall, this product gets 5/5 stars from me! My pores are smaller, my skin is smoother, and it works better than the moisturizer I used to use.

Along with the Vitamin C Facial Toner, I was happy to try out the Vitamin C Serum. I also love this product. I apply the Serum on after the Toner and LOVE the results I have experienced. Although my skin is left smooth and silky after using the Vitamin C Toner spray alone, the combination of the spray and the serum is even better. I love feeling how silky my face feels and I love how much smaller my pores have been getting. Although not as easy as applying the Vitamin C Toner spray, the Vitamin C Serum is still simple to apply and only takes about a minute. The consistency of the serum makes it easier than other brands to apply in an even layer to your face. Overall, my skin feels and looks better, brighter, and more youthful!

Lastly, I also was given the opportunity to try the Instanatural Eye Gel! Because I naturally have dark circles under my eyes, I am always excited when I get the opportunity to try out a new eye gel! It was easy to incorporate into my beauty routine and the consistency of the product makes it easy to apply. The scent of the product is faint yet pleasant. The product's primary purpose is to be used under and around your eyes to diminish dark circles, wrinkles, and improve the overall appearance of your eye area. However, this amazing product can also be used ALL OVER YOUR FACE as a moisturizer! I love products that serve more than one purpose! After continued use, I did see a decrease in the appearance of the dark circles under my eyes. My skin looked brighter and younger. I can't wait to see how those results will improve with continued use!

In conclusion, I truly enjoyed having the opportunity to try these amazing products. When used together, they deliver results that are incredible. I cannot stress enough how much softer and silkier my skin is! REVIEW: ADVIL

After a long day of cleaning my apartment, I was happy to try the samples of Advil given to me free of charge from Crowdtap! I loved the candy coating and how FAST my headache was relieved! REVIEW: BODY MERRY EYE CREAM & CELLULITE DEFENSE GEL-CREAM

Thanks to Tomoson and Body Merry, I have been given the opportunity to try and review the Body Merry Age Defense Eye Cream & Cellulite Defense Gel-Cream free of charge.  As always, all opinions are my own.

First, I am going to review the Body Merry Cellulite Defense Gel-Cream.  As I am getting older, I have started to notice some pock marks appearing on my thighs.  Considering I almost always wear shorts, this is something I am willing to try ANYTHING to get rid of.  When I saw this product listed on Tomoson, I was excited to apply.  After being approved, I was quickly sent the product via Amazon.

In a matter of two days, there was a package waiting for me on my doorstep.  Side note: don't you love getting packages?? It's like Christmas morning!  Anyway, I opened the box and removed the products. I like the size of the tub the product comes packaged in as it is small enough to keep out on the bathroom counter.  The directions state to use the cream once in the morning and once in the evening, which makes it easy to incorporate into your existing beauty routine.

Upon opening the tub, it smelled of a vapor rub/peppermint scent.  I applied a layer of the cream to my problem areas and didn't expect what came next.  Within minutes, my problem areas began to experience an interesting sensation.  This sensation is similar to that of which Icy-Hot gives you. The consistency of the cream is pudding-like, which makes it easy to rub into your skin.

Now for the part I know you all are dying to hear about: results.  I am happy to report that I have noticed a difference in my problem areas since using this gel-cream.  Although not completely erased, the pock marks have become much less noticeable.  I believe with continued use the results will only improve! I am excited to see what the future holds!

Along with the cellulite cream, I was given the opportunity to review the Body Merry Age Defense Eye Cream.  Although only 26 years old, I am a believer that it is never too early to use anti-aging products.  Thus, when asked if I was interested in reviewing the eye cream I was super excited!

I really like the packaging of this eye cream. The pump on the bottle makes it easy to control the amount of cream that comes out.  This is good considering a little goes a long way! The cream itself has a slight scent, but it is not overpowering.  I decided to only try it once a day and applied the cream every night before bed. It was easy to apply right after washing my face before bedtime.

After trying this product for several weeks, I have definitely seen an improvement!  The skin around my eyes looks brighter and more youthful.  I look more well-rested and those pesky dark circles are beginning to fade!  I will continue to use this product and am excited to see what results I will see in the future.

Overall, I did enjoy both products.  Both were very effective and are simple to use!  I would recommend checking out these products if you are in need of either.

REVIEW: SKINTIMATE MANDARIN BURST SHAVE GEL

I recently received a complimentary bottle of Skintimate's Mandarin Burst Shave Gel from CrowdTap for testing purposes.  I also recently received SMOOTH, SILKY legs! I truly love this product for not only making shaving those pesky leg hairs away an easy and pleasant experience, but also for providing my skin with silky hydration and moisture for a lasting smooth feeling.  I also like that this product is a shave gel rather than a shave cream.  The gel gently squirts out of the can when the button is pressed rather than shooting out like many other shave creams, which causes waste of the product.  Another amazing thing about Skintimate's Mandarin Burst Shave Gel is the SCENT!! REVIEW: MCCORMICK 4TH OF JULY BBQ BASH

Fourth of July is one of my favorite holidays and every year I love gathering some friends to entertain and BBQ!  This year was no different. Well, except that Crowtap and McCormick Spices supplied complimentary spices and sauces which made this the most flavorful Fourth of July party I've ever had!

I was looking around on Pinterest a couple nights before the party and found a great idea for red, white, and blue sangria! I thought it was such a cute and festive idea that I decided to make my own for my party using white wine, pineapples, strawberries, and blueberries. This sangria was a great refreshing drink that was festive and a perfect compliment to a hot day outside BBQing.

In my Crowdtap McCormick Grill Ambassadors package, there were so many choices of spices, seasonings, and sauces to use!  I decided that I wanted to make Sweet Tea marinated chicken, zucchini, and squash skewers, Montreal steak sauce and seasoning marinated chicken breasts, Smoky Applewood burgers, Worcestershire Pub burgers, grilled artichoke, and hot dogs. I invited a couple of friends over and we fired up the grill.

I had never tried any of these spices in the past and was super excited to see how everything would taste. I marinated the chicken over night and skewered them up the next morning.

The burgers were simple to make.  I simply opened the package of seasoning, poured the contents into 1 lb of ground beef, mixed together with my hands, and formed into patties.

My friends and I moved the party to the grill and hung out while my boyfriend took over the grill.

   

Soon enough, the food was ready and we were ready to dig in.  First up, chicken skewers. OH. MY. GOSH.  This chicken was so tender, juicy, and FLAVORFUL.  My guests all commented on how flavorful the chicken was and gobbled all of the skewers up!

The marinated Montreal Steak seasoning/sauce chicken breasts were also a big hit.  These were SUPER flavorful and tasted exactly how BBQ chicken should taste!  The chicken breasts were my boyfriend's favorite and he is already planning when we will make them again! I was pleasantly surprised with how satisfied my guests were by something that was so simple to make!

 

Next up, the burgers.  I was skeptical about how these would taste since they were so simple to prepare and didn't require any eggs or other ingredients to be added to the beef.  I absolutely loved these burgers.  The flavor that was infused in the beef from one simple seasoning packet was incredible.  The Smoky Applewood had a true smoky bbq flavor and the Worcestershire Pub burgers were infused with a Worcestershire flavor. One of my guests is a burger connoisseur and is SUPER picky when it comes to his burgers.  I was shocked when he commented on how delicious these burgers were!

I was so happy that all of the food was a hit and my guests had a truly delicious Fourth of July! I will definitely be buying these products in the future and am SO happy I was given the opportunity to try these products out free of charge!

REVIEW: #GOPROFOOT PEDI-ROCK AND TRIAD ORTHOTIC INSOLES

As mentioned in previous blog posts, I received in my #GoVoxBox from Influenster two complimentary products from #GoProFoot to try out.  As usual, all opinions are my own.

I loved both of the PROFOOT products that were included in the #GoVoxBox: Pedi-Rock and Triad Orthotic Insoles.  The pedi-rock came in handy when giving myself a pedicure!  I loved how smooth it left my feet feeling!  The only downfall was the inconvenient shape of the product that was supposed to enhance its utility.  I would have to disagree with the creators of this design.  However, besides that one fault, I loved this product and will continue to use it in the future!

I also loved the Triad Orthotic Insoles.  I decided to put them in my sneakers that I go hiking in.  They made my sneakers more comfortable and added support to minimize damage to my feet.  I love how these feel in my sneakers and will also continue to use this product.

Overall, both products were great and I will continue to buy products by this brand!

REVIEW: INFLUENSTER #GOVOXBOX

I can't even begin to describe how excited I was upon receiving that email stating that I had been chosen for the Influenster #GoVoxBox! 1 Next Step Shaker Bottle + 3 Packets of Next Step Fit N Full Protein Shakes

I previously posted a review of the French Vanilla Fit N Full Protein Shake on my blog.  To summarize my review, I really enjoyed the flavor.  The French Vanilla remains my favorite out of the flavors.  I really enjoyed how it tasted just like cake batter but was WAY healthier!  If you LOVE cake batter like me, this is the protein shake for you! The one con I do have is that the shaker bottle did not work as well as I had hoped.  Even after minutes of vigorously shaking, the protein power did not blend all the way into the water.  Thus, I had to take a fork to it.  Overall, I really did enjoy this product and do plan on purchasing some more Fit N Full Protein Shakes in the future!

1 Pack of Blue Diamond Blueberry Flavored Almonds

This was probably the product in the #GoVoxBox that I was excited most to try.  I truly enjoyed this product! These almonds tasted like blueberry muffins.  Once I opened the package, it was hard to stop eating them.  Had I not had to film a video for one of the Vox Box tasks, those almonds would have been gone the minute I opened them.  Overall, a great and delicious product!

I was so happy to see the AquaSpa Bath Soak in my #GoVoxBox.  I am a sucker for hot baths and relaxation after a hard stressful day.  I love bubble bath / bath salt products and ALWAYS have some on hand.  I was so excited to try this Lavender scented bath soak and it did NOT disappoint.  This bath soak was not foamy or bubbly, but delivered aromatics for a true relaxing experience.  Overall, this product helped me to relax and for that I loved it!

1 ProFoot Pedi-Rock

I have been wanting to get a Pedi-Rock for some time now and I couldn't wait to try ProFoot's Pedi-Rock after opening my vox box.  I decided to try it out one night after using my AquaSpa Bath Soak and was not disappointed.  I used the Pedi-Rock to smooth out some dry spots on the bottom of my feet (TMI?), mainly my heel area.  I was pleased with how smooth my feet felt after using this product.  One problem I did have with this product was that the shape was strange.  It didn't lend any benefits to the purpose for which it was designed.  However, despite the minor fault in the shape of the product, I did enjoy this product for helping me achieve smoother feet!

1 ProFoot Triad Orthotics

Living in Southern California has many perks, one of which is being able to go hiking up a mountain whenever you feel like it!  I go hiking at least once a week and thought these ProFoot Triad Orthotics would be a great addition to my sneakers to give me added support.  I thought these inserts were great and will continue to use them.

I don't have much of an in-depth review for these Playtex Sport Tampons.  These worked great for me and I have no complaints about them!
